Does anyone make their own Dog Food? What is your recipe?

I make my own and the dogs love it, I don’t have to worry about “poison” commercial dog food and mine were having stomach problems with the canned and they hate the dry food. Let me know what you’ve come up with, please.

    One from each category:

Meats: chicken, turkey, lamb, venison, duck, rabbit, occasional fish- like Tilapia.
Meats constitute the majority of the food (i.e. one cup) and includes skin and fat, cooked and de-boned.

Veggies: (one green, one yellow) peas, carrots, yellow squash, acorn squash, zucchini, broccoli florets, cauliflower, green beans (1/4 cup combined)

Fruits: Fresh or frozen cranberries without added sugar, slightly steamed, 1/4 cup.
fruit treats in small amounts: frozen banana slices, apple slices

Starches: White potato, sweet potato (omit carrots when adding sweet potato), rice, 1/4 cup

Supplements: 3V Caps, skin formulation with Omega 3, Vit A, D and E – or- Norwegian Cod Liver Oil : 1 Tablespoon mixed in food. Brewer’s Yeast, 1 tablespoon mixed in food.

I’ve done that cooked recipe or I would do a raw diet:

I often give them yogurt with live acidophilis- like a small yogurt cup.

I also give 1/4 cup beef heart RAW, sliced and cubed which provides taurine. Good for dog and cats.

Ever heard of the the B.A.R.F diet? I heard of it when I was working at PetSmart. Its a raw meat and veggie diet for cats and dogs. Its just about the healthiest thing you can do for your animal. Expensive yes but if your like me then your animal is family. Try searching for that diet, its good stuff.

This is one, but I feed raw and kibble also.
hand full of noodle or boiled potato
    boiled ground beef lean
    boiled carrots
    little olive oil
then I put it in a food processor

I also feed lamb chops from the grill, different kinds of boiled meat, but no pork. Raw beef with bones, eggs, cantaloupe and watermelon, frozen cubed beef or chicken broth. The kibble I feed is solid gold with solid gold Vita/min supplement.

Oprah makes her own dog food, like for her own dogs. ever since that dog-food incedent. she mixed rice grains (cooked) and small carrots, and raw meat, other things like that. it’s really healthy and nutrious for dogs.

I live on a busy road, and my dogs can’t get enough of the roadkill that comes our way.

Racoons, possum, squirrels, birds, other dogs, deer, you name it, they lap it up.

I feed my eleven working dogs home-cooked. I keep Merrick kibble on hand for when they have to eat an easy meal, but they eat home-cooked on a daily basis. I do not agree with raw diets, I think that is foolish.
My dogs get the following on a regular basis:
2 meat sources daily–chicken, ground beef, salmon, venison, lamb, or egg.
Potato, Rice, or Oatmeal for carbs
    Cottage Cheese
    Apples
    Carrots

I make the meals about once a week and portion it out ahead of time, all mixed together.
They eat apples off of the tree but also in slices, and they eat carrots basically whenever they want them as a treat or snack. We go through hundreds of pounds of carrots monthly I am sure.
I also supplement the meals with Missing Link powder for active dogs just so I feel secure that their meals are as complete as possible.
